What is contact force
Contact force refers to the type of force that arises when two objects are in physical contact with each other. This force can only occur when there is direct interaction between objects, and it acts at the point or area of contact.
Frictional Force: Opposes the relative motion or tendency of motion between surfaces in contact.
Normal Force: Acts perpendicular to the surface of contact, supporting the weight of an object resting on it.
Tension Force: Experienced by a rope, cable, or string when it is pulled tight.
Applied Force: When an external force is applied to an object, like pushing or pulling.
